Hello Lovelies 🙂

Another Glossybox! And an extra special treat for summer, 6 products in the box this June. Glossybox picked products this month that will give us a laid-back look and they also included an exclusive sample from a new book by blogger Louise Pentland called ‘Wilde Like Me’ for a picnic read. SAM_4734.JPGI never usually talk about Sneak Peeks for the next month but this month sneak peek was too amazing not to share. In July one of the items that will be included in everyone’s glossybox is a Spectrum fan brush!!! It looks super pretty and sort of a mermaid theme i think!! So if you haven’t subscribed to Glossybox i highly recommend you do if you love the brand Spectrum for makeup brushes! July should be a fab one! SAM_4729.JPG

Inside the box :  2 Beauty, 3 Skincare and 1 Hair product

Sleek Power Plump Lip Crayon – This product retails at £5.50 for 3.6g and is a lip crayon that also plumps your lips. I’m not too sure if it works so i cannot comment on that yet but for £5.50 it would be worth to try to see if it does plump out your pout. For my honest opinion i am not too keen on lip products by Sleek i find them to be drying on my lips so i like to spend a little more on lip products. But this lip crayon contains an ingredient that encourages blood to the surface of the lips hense why it then ends up plumping your pout, reading about this on their site it says that this creates an ‘addictive buzzing sensation.’ The shade i received was in Colossal Coral, as you may know already if you keep up to date with my blog i am not a fan of coral make up products on me so i will be giving this lip crayon a pass sadly. Have included a swatch below.SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESrsz_sam_4743.jpg

MANNA KADAR Glo Illuminator – This gorgeous product is from Belgium. It retails at £22.50 and we received a full size of 20ml! This is such a pretty shade with shimmer particles. It really does give a subtle glow once blended in and i think i will be using this underneath my highlighter for an extra pop of shimmer. You can use along your cheekbones, mixed in with your foundation for a dewy, healthy shimmer look and also along your collar bones for a more pronounced look. This highlight illuminator can be used with or without make up and apparently is even more amazing for mature or dry skin. I love the glow that this product gives and you can never have enough glow can you? SAM_4732.JPG

SKINCAREBeauty Pro Black Diamond Mask – Wow i am so excited to try this product out i love trying out new face masks and this one looks amazing! This is £4.95 for 7g and contains activated charcoal. Activated charcoal deep cleans and balances the skin’s oil so this seems like an important ingredient to have in a face mask. This mask has a whole list of benefits which i will list below; (Has been taken from

  • Detoxifying, targets blackheads and acne
  • Rebalances oily zones and clears impurities
  • Exfoliates dead skin cells, increases hydration
  • Repairs skin damage and brightens complexion
  • Boosting skin firmness
  • Improving skin clarity, tone and elasticity
  • Ready to use, 20 minute treatment
  • No animal ingredients or testing
  • Free of Mineral Oils, Lanolin, Petroleum and Parabens

As you can see so many beneficial things for your face and using this once a week i think will be a must! I like the fact that you keep this on for 15 to 20 minutes, giving the product that long will really allow it to work in your skin. SAM_4736.JPG

111 Skin Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel – This was our sneak peek product from May’s box and i have been super excited for it since knowing. I have been really wanting to try this product out as i have heard many good things about it. I love eye creams/gels and it can be hard to find ones that are actually decent for your eyes and do what they claim too (because of this i’ve done alot of reading ingredient lists haha) so i was so so excited to see this product. We received a sample of 5ml which is so amazing as this would cost £36 but if Glossybox gave us a full size of this they really would be even more super super generous, as this eye gel could break the bank being £110 for 15ml!! However with skincare you do get the quality you pay for so this may be a good investment.  It is one of the most luxurious eye creams out there, with the eyes being the most sensitive area of the face and the part that you see ageing happening first i like to use a cream that is specifically for the eye area. This eye gel contains some great ingredients that will reduce the appearance of dark circles. soften the appearance of fine lines, minimize puffiness and also keep the eye area hydrated. There is nothing more you could ask of an eye product. SAM_4740.JPG

Himalaya Since 1930 Purifying Neem Face Wash – This brand i have never heard of before so was intrigued to find out more about this product. It is a face wash that retails at £3.29 for 150ml, we received a 50ml sample.  This face wash contains a herb called Neem that has been talked highly about in the Health world. It has brilliant anti-bacterial properties so it is good for cleansing the skin and this face wash also claims to help prevent pimples and control acne with the Turmeric in it also. An added bonus is that it is free from Parabens, SLS/SLES and Phthalates. SAM_4738.JPG

Batiste Stylist Oomph My Locks XXL Volume Spray –  Since starting my Glossybox subscription last August i have never received a volume spray so quite happy now that one has been included. In my personal preference i am not a big fan of the Batiste range because i don’t like how they leave white residue in your hair even after rubbing in. However i have not really found a volume spray at the moment that really lives up to what it claims to do. So will definitely give this a go with an open mind. We received a full size which is 200ml for £4.29. What i first noticed was this volume spray contains Keratin (helps to strengthen hair) and Inca Inchi Oil (helps to nourish hair) so some hair benefits too whilst having added volume in your hair. It claims to be a backcomb spray which i love as i hate how damaging backcombing can be but the effects of a backcomb style is so gorgeous with so much volume. Hopefully this spray does volumise my hair and at the same time i can know at least two of the ingredients added will benefit my hair 🙂 SAM_4761.JPG

Overall June’s Glossybox i was very happy with. A total of 6 products made this box even better! I have 3 joint favourites the Black Diamond face mask, 111 Skin eye gel and Manna Kadar Glo Illuminator. I think Glossybox got the mix of beauty, skincare and haircare products spot on this month! Cannot wait for July’s box i can feel it’s going to be a good one with that Sneak Peek i shared with you all! 🙂 I would love to see if anyone else got any different products and as always love hearing from you all!
