Hello Lovelies 🙂

A little note about last month’s box – Before i start with what’s inside Glossybox’s December box i thought i would let you know for anyone who isn’t following my twitter that i could not do a glossybox November review last month sadly. I am so sorry for anyone who loves to come to my blog to view the monthly glossybox reviews but glossybox said there was a mess up in their system as they recently updated their website and said that my box even though payment was taken out must of not been dispatched by accident. I have never had any issues with them before and i have been subscribed to them since August 2016 so it looks like it is a one off. They kindly sent me a couple of glossy surprises (they were items from previous boxes, so very thoughtful.) I was obviously dissapointed as last month’s box looked great from other reviews i saw but luckily for me this box arrived!! I would of been even more sad to of missed out on this one!

This month is obviously the festive party season and included in this box are party season beauty staples. Glossybox teamed up with an Irish lifestyle brand called Dusty Boy to give us a beautiful collector’s edition box design and they also gave us 20% off a shop with this brand. Glossybox said that this month is dedicated to “Mince Pies, Starry Skies and a beautiful Glossybox surprise.” I was guessing that this Glossybox surprise was this scrummy, yummy treat incase we tire of mince pies!PC090884.JPG

Inside The Box: 5 Products (ALL FULL SIZE!)  3 Beauty & 2 Skincare

Steve Larant Precision Tip Eyeliner – I was actually so happy to receive this gift as i was hoping to buy a liquid eyeliner this month. This one is stunning. In rose gold packaging and retailing at £18 you just can’t go wrong. This is by a brand i haven’t come across before Steve Larant, and it looks very luxurious. The eyeliner is in the shade black and has a very intense pigmentation. It has a fine felt tip applicator so it should be easy for application. It apparently is also smudge proof and water proof. PC090876.JPG

LAQA & CO Cloud Lips – This matte lipstick retails at £12.70, again this is a new brand to me that i haven’t heard of LAQA & CO. The Rose gold packaging is just as stunning as the eyeliner packaging. I received the shade Daydream which is a gorgeous deep pink with slightly mauve undertones when applied to the lips. I am extremely happy that Glossybox included a different lipstick colour to red as at Christmas time the tradition i guess on lips is to wear red as it is the most festive looking however, for those of you who read my blog posts you will probably by now know that i don’t particularly like wearing red lippy and much prefer a nude, pink or brown shade so i was over the moon with this. This is such a lightweight lipstick and is highly pigmented. I usually hate alot of lipstick brands as i find loads really drying and cheap however this was so creamy despite being matte and didn’t dry my lips out when i tried this out. They have 3 other shades but daydream has to be my favourite out of them all! (So lucky i received this shade.) PC090878.JPGPC090882.JPG

KRYOLAN Eye Shadow Primer – Again another brand i haven’t heard of before (every product in this box is a brand discovery for me hehe) this is an eyeshadow primer from KYROLAN. This retails at £18.30. I haven’t tried this out yet so cannot comment on it but it dries transparent and does what any other eyeshadow primer does, keeps eyeshadow in place all day without creasing. I cannot say if this is long lasting or if it really does work but it is one to try out 🙂 PC090875.JPG

NAOBAY Equilibria Gel to Milk Cleanser – This is such a wonderful item. I love that this was included i have heard of this brand before but i have never used anything from them before. This is a gel that transforms into a cleanser. It is a golden gel that softens into a cleansing milk after contact with water. It has alot of great ingredients in it. It has a nourishing blend of Açaí Extract and Sweet Almond Oil. This cleanser will work to re-balance your complexion, strengthen the skin’s hydrolipidic film and leave you with your complexion cleared. You use it like any other cleanser where you rinse it off afterwards. I love the scent of this it smells so fresh and luxurious (if luxury even had a smell) and it retails for £15.99 for 75ml. This product is an organic product which is not tested on animals so big bonus points for that. I am excited to try this cleanser out. PC090871.JPG

LYPSYL Mirror Compact – I adore this item even though it is the cheapest one in the box! It retails at £4.99 and is the perfect stocking filler. It comes in four scents i am so lucky as i received my favourite scent of all the ones available ‘Zingy Mandarin.’ It smells so yummy. I have used it everyday since receiving and it is so nourishing for the lips. Some lip balms i find dry my lips out even more however this one is packed full of moisturing Shea butter, Aloe Vera and Cocoa Butter which all helps to repair and protect dry lips. This is a lip balm with a difference as it has a compact mirror too, perfect for on the go. I think i have found my new favourite budget lip balm! Oh and i can’t forget to tell you that it has SPF15 in it which alot of lip balms lack any SPF protection. PC090872.JPG

Overall, this was an amazing box for Christmas. I love the variety of skincare and beauty products and all of the products i would use! This has to be one of my favourite boxes so far and well worth the money. I spent £13.25 on this box including delivery and the box contents came to £69.65!! I can’t fault this box at all and i have a feeling lots of other people will love this December box too. Glossybox definitely have made up for the little issue with my November box 🙂 Can’t believe the next box review i will be doing is in the year 2018! Where does the time go?
