Pureology Hydrate Colour Care Shampoo Review

Hello Lovelies

Today I am reviewing a shampoo that is my favourite shampoo that I have changed to recently. The shampoo is from Pureology and is called Hydrate Colour Care Shampoo. This shampoo is originally £18.50 for 250ml. Although you can buy from places like Cult Beauty for £16.50 and Look Fantastic at the moment have an offer for £12.40 for 250ml! So I would highly recommend taking advantage of this!

This shampoo is my new favourite shampoo and after I have been using for a month I had to share this incredible product with you all. Anybody who has read any of my previous shampoo posts know that I can be abit picky about shampoo’s as my scalp gets dry areas if I use the wrong ones as it gets highly irritated by ingredients like SLS. So I always opt for Sulfate Free shampoos. I was browsing through Cult Beauty as I love the product ranges they have on their site and came across this brand, I was very impressed with the claims and the ingredients that I brought it to try out. I am so glad I did!!

Pureology’s Hydrate Shampoo is brilliant for anybody with colour-treated hair as it is Sulphate-free, gentle (non-stripping of colour) and has moisturising properties. It is also designed for people with dry hair texture too. This shampoo has an Advanced hydrating  “Micro-Emulsion Technology” that infuses your hair with hydration and revitalises whilst also enhancing the colour radiance (Colour vibrancy is also protected by Pureology’s AntiFade Complex.) Jojoba and Green Tea in the formula are super conditioning ingredients, and the multi-weight proteins of Oat, Wheat and Soy rebuild, strengthen and repair damaged/dry hair.

The shampoo is also formulated with something called ZeroSulfate. Surfactants are needed in a shampoo’s cleansing system, but many common ones like Sulfates can fade your hair colour vibrancy. That is why this shampoo by Pureology is so special because of their unique ZeroSulfate. This is a mild cleansing system that doesn’t strip your hair colour! A lovely extra is that this shampoo is also 100% Vegan.

This shampoo comes out as a lovely, thick and rich lather, I was very excited to see that the product itself is PURPLE, this was an exciting surprise when I squeezed into my hand! The smell is also lovely, it’s hard to say what it smells similar too but it smells nice and fresh which is what anybody washing their hair wants. It’s got an aromatherapy blend smell to it. I’m guessing that’s from the Bergamot and Ylang Ylang and Patchouli in the scent.

Overall, I would highly recommend this shampoo to anybody. It has been the best one that I have ever used and a little goes a long way. Next time I need to repurchase they also do a fantastic litre sized bottle which I will be 100% getting. My hair after washes is so shiny, bouncy, moisturised and just overall healthy and soft. It’s a shampoo that is so worth the money and has many benefits. Being Sulfate free is a massive plus for me and it also contains UVA/B protection! There is nothing more a shampoo needs. I can see myself loving this shampoo way into the future and definitely will be trying out other products by Pureology!

Have any of you tried any shampoos or conditioners by Pureology? If so which ones? I would also love to know if you have tried this HYDRATE one out and what your thoughts were on it.

Thank you for reading and taking the time to visit my blog. See you all next Sunday!
