Afternoon Lovelies,
It’s time for Moi-Meme Winter 2019 subscription box review! This winter box’s theme is The Thrive Box.It’s the start of 2019 so this box’s theme fits in very well with a fresh year. The box is all about building the life of your dreams. “To thrive is to nurture your mental and physical wellbeing so you can achieve all that you want to in life.” The contents of this box has products that relate to this.
Your Dream Life Starts Here By Kristina Karlsson (£18) This book is a brilliant addition to the ‘thrive’ theme. It’s jam-packed full of pages that encourage you to follow your dreams and helps you on how to actually achieve your dreams. There are lots of exercises in the book that help you to write down your dreams and know what steps to take to actually achieve them. The book allows you to focus on three dreams you may have and by the end of the book you would of worked through the book exercises which allows you to take action on your dreams with seven specific tasks set in place. You can also buy the ‘Dream Life Journal’ which costs £15.
Kate Spade Lunch Tote (£28) This is such a lovely lunch bag tote. I received a design with strawberries on which I thought was a perfect touch. This tote is the perfect way to take a homemade lunch to work or on a day out to help me with eating nutritionally when not at home. Kate Spade New York is a well known brand and it’s amazing that Moi-Meme have included an item from their range. The tote is so well presented and it’s a lovely handy size. Can’t wait to use mine!
NAKIN Performance Face Serum (£25) Nakin is a natural skincare brand that I have not discovered yet so it’s always lovely to try out new skincare brands. Nakin range of products include a mix of naturally powerful anti-ageing plant extracts like; Hibiscus, Seaweed, Pomegranate, Hyaluronic Acid aswell as butters and oils to heal and rejuvenate. The range is cruelty free and contains no SLS, Parabens or artificial fragrances or anyother uneeded chemicals. The product we received was the Performance Face Serum. This is a serum rich in antioxidant oils. It claims to smooth, condition and restore and improve the skin’s elasticity. It’s a 50ml bottle worth £25. The serum has inside; Green Tea (combats skin stressors with powerful antioxidants), Hydrolyzed Hibiscus Extract (smooths facial lines), Hyaluronic Acid (adds plumpness aswell as boosting hydration and elasticity to the skin), Pomegranate (helps reverse damage to the skin from sun exposure) and Rosemary Leaf Extract ( protects skin’s collagen and elastin fibres to promote youthful looking skin.)
Rachel Jackson Lucky Face Silver Necklace ( £40)Rachel Jackson does a collection of many different jewellery items. Moi-Meme chose either a necklace or bracelet for each box. I received a necklace from the Game Face collection. The range was designed to empower you to feel ready to face the world and tackle what comes up… “get your game face on.” The necklace is called Lucky Face and costs £40. It’s made from sterling silver and has a beautiful charm of a star on it. I love stars as they remind me that there is light even in the darkness however, I don’t actually own a star necklace so this will be a nice addition to my jewellery collection.
Phase Zero Blusher – Shade Heart Throb (£7.50)Phase Zero is a new British makeup brand, they have created a range of products that are affordable yet also delivers results like more luxury makeup brands out there. We received their blusher range. This blusher shade is in Heart Throb. It’s a gorgeous pink shade that claims it works well with medium skintones. I can’t wait to try it out and add a flush of colour to my cheeks as Springtime soon appears. It’ll be interesting to see how it performs and if it really does deliver on the results of a more premium makeup brand.
Overall, this box was packed full of a lovely selection of items. There was skincare, makeup, Jewellery aswell as a book and a lifestyle accessory. I loved each of the items and can’t really pick a favourite as they all were a great range of products! Moi-Meme really do find perfect items to match their box theme so if you loved the contents of this box I highly recommend you go check out their previous boxes and possibly subscribe if you wish! I have been subscribed to Moi-Meme for a whole year now and loved every single box I received. The box retails at £49.95 but the whole total of the box contents came to a big £118.50. Well worth it!!
If you are thinking about subscribing to Moi-Meme or want to try out a box then I have a personal code that will give you £5 off your first box! (Please Note – This is NOT a sponsored post I buy these boxes with my own money as I fell in love with the box itself…Moi-Meme gave me the chance to give others £5 off their first box so gave me this personal code to share with all of you lovely readers if your interested in subscribing yourself.)
I love the idea of a ‘Thrive Box’, and you get some pretty decent (and expensive) stuff in there. Pretty necklace too, but my eyes popped at £40! x
