GLOSSYBOX (UK REVIEW) FEBRUARY 2019

Morning Lovelies,

Everybody knows that February is the month of love…after all it is Valentine’s Day on the 14th. So Glossybox’s edition this month is called It’s All About Love. They have even included a sweet little his and her treat that can be shared with your special someone (I loved this idea.) Glossybox has aimed this box at happily single people embracing self-love or for people who are in a relationship prepping for a romantic date.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe box design is absolutely gorgeous!! Pretty red and pink hearts cover the box base and I love the the simple but effective design on the lid of the box. Super pretty! Glossybox are also extremely thoughtful so they are very good at little details, this time the contents was wrapped with a ribbon printed with hearts on it! I love the little details. INSIDE THE BOX: 2 SKINCARE AND 4 BEAUTY

SKINCARE

REGENERATE Enamel Science Advanced ToothpasteOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI currently use this toothpaste as I have had this before in a previous Glossybox and also in the Look Fantastic Advent Calendar too. This toothpaste honestly makes your teeth feel squeaky clean and makes them feel extremely fresh. It’s always lovely to receive toothpaste in a box like this as then I have backup ones (when you accidentally run out of toothpaste it’s the worst feeling ever to have to run out to the shops to get more.) This toothpaste has unique NR-5 ingredients which reverses early enamel erosion. Full size retails for £10 and this deluxe mini is worth £2.50.

VITAMASQUES Multivitamin MaskOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI love trying out new face masks and this one looks lovely. It’s a korean face mask that is formulated with lots of vitamins for nourishment to the skin. The face mask moisturises and hydrates any dry skin. I love the pastel packaging colours, this is extremely pretty. The mask retails for 4.99 and is full size.

BEAUTY

HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour (Venus)OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHuda Beauty!! This box is already awesome for including this brand inside. If you also received this box you either would of received shade Venus or Flirt. I luckily got the one I would of chosen myself….Venus. Venus is a such a stunning deep nude shade. I am in love with it! It is a cult beauty favourite this Lip Contour and it’s waterproof and transfer free! The texture is creamy and smooth and just glides on effortlessly. You can colour your lips with this and also contour your lips too. This retails for £16. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

NAILS INC Status Ready Nail VarnishOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI love love love NAILS INC. I personally own quite a few of their nail varnishes already so of course I was excited to see this one. I usually opt for pink nails over red however it’s always lovely to switch it up and try something new. So I am glad Glossybox included a deep cherry red shade (as i probably wouldn’t of brought myself.) This shade is called Status Ready.  NAILS INC Nail Varnishes are always long-lasting and very glossy. My favourite thing about their varnishes is that the brushes have been made to perfectly fit the width and shape of your nail so application is super easy! This retails for £15.

LUXIE BEAUTY Medium Fan Face Brush 560OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI’ve not heard of the brand LUXIE BEAUTY before but wow what a pretty brush. I don’t often use fan brushes in my normal everyday makeup application however this brush will look super pretty in my makeup brush collection and is there if I do need it one day. Again i’m glad Glossybox has included something that I most likely wouldn’t of brought myself. The handle is a super pretty pearl white and the bristles are lovely and soft. A fan brush is perfect for adding shimmer like highlighters! This brush retails for £15.

MUGLER ALIEN Fusion Parfum and ALIEN Man FusionOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAWhat a lovely idea adding a his and hers item. This is the new Alien Fusion fragrance by Mugler. I tried out the For Her one and it smells stunning. I usually go for floral scents like Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb however this one is perfect for an evening date or if you want to smell hot and sexy! My boyfriend tried out the For Him one and it smells delicious! It’s very masculine and again smells super sexy. He said straight away i’m purchasing this on my payday! These are obviously sample sizes but the full size price for Alien Fusion EDP 30ml is £49 and the Alien Man Fusion EDT 50ml is £47.

Overall, I am in love with this box! 2019 so far has been an incredible year of products so far, last month’s box was amazing and this month’s box again keeps to the same standard! I loved the his and her idea I thought that was super cute! My boyfriend also was very grateful for a new scent for himself. I love the Huda Beauty Lip Contour and including a full size NAILSINC nail varnish was very generous! This box has everything I will need to prep for my Valentines Day. I cannot wait for the Glossybox treats that March will bring.

As always I love hearing your opinions on the products and the box overall. Did you purchase the February box? Let me know down in the comments your thoughts!

LOVE CHARLOTTE XO
UNTIL NEXT TIME BEYOU-TIFUL INSIDE & OUT XOXO

Ooo I like this for a themed box this month. And that toothpaste, the REGENERATE stuff, I was looking at that the other day (I have weakened enamel) but couldn’t bring myself to buy it as it’s so expensive. You’ve convinced me it may be worth giving a go though, and I do like the idea of squeaky clean teeth as well as, hopefully, helping enamel. xx
