It’s my monthly Glossybox Review time again! This edition of Glossybox is The Empowerment Edition. With 5 products in the box they have picked out products that will inspire us to chase our dreams.
INSIDE THE BOX: 2 SKINCARE AND 3 BEAUTY
BYBI Plumper Lip Balm This is a lip balm lip plumper that is by a brand I haven’t heard of before…BYBI. I am not super excited about receiving this item as I can’t say putting chilli based ingredients on my lips to plump them out more really appeals to me personally so I probably won’t be trying this out. But with my own personal preference aside, this lip balm claims to be a thick and creamy formula which plumps up your pout to enhance it’s natural shape and gives your lips protection from dryness. It retails for £9 and is a full size product at 10ml.
NEUTROGENA Ageless Boost Hydrogel Recovery Mask I love when Glossybox includes a good face mask in their box. This is a new sheet mask from Neutrogena and is enriched with Adenosine a brilliant anti-ageing ingredient which helps to smooth fine lines. This sheet mask is also made with a Hydrogel cooling technology, it delivers the same amount of one 30ml bottle of concentrated serum to your skin! I am excited to try this one out on a pamper night and it retails at a decent price of £3.50.
BELLAPIERRE Kiss Proof Lip Creme This is a full size lip creme product that retails for £20 from Bellapierre. I haven’t tried a lip product from Bellapierre before but this claims to be a full coverage liquid lipstick that dries with a matte finish and goes on smooth and creamy. This comes in everyone’s box in a variety of different shades. I got the ALOHA shade which is a kind of vibrant pink. It’s not the shade I would of personally picked out for myself sadly (I would of picked out their more nude shade) and I do wish with lip products Glossybox gave subscribers the opportunity to pick the shade they would like as everyone has a different favourite lip look.
LARITZY COSMETICS Dew Pot – UtopiaI am slightly dissapointed with Glossybox for including this item again as this has shown up in a previous Glossybox before. This is a smooth pink highlighter which retails for £15.30. The shade is called Utopia. It has ultra-fine shimmer inside which gives the highlighting shimmery effect. It is a very pretty shade if you love to wear a rosy highlighter however, as I have already received this before I can’t say I’m a massive fan of it being included again.
ESSENCE HD HYDRA Primer SprayThis primer spray is from the brand Essence and retails for only £3.50 for 50ml! It is infused with coconut water and pro-vitamin B5. Underneath your makeup is claims to energise, hydrate and refresh your skin and evens out your skin tone. I’m not much of a fan of Essence beauty products so I can’t say that I’m excited to of received this to try out however, it’s nice to see a primer spray included as I haven’t received one before in this box.
Overall, this months box was abit of a disappointment. I hate writing negative reviews on my blog post as I only like to share with you all my favourite products and what I love etc…However, I have to be honest and say that the only product I will really be keeping to try out is the Neutrogena face mask because for me personally it was the best product in the whole box. Glossybox usually get the boxes right and it’s not often that I have a bad thing to say about a month’s box so sadly this month in my opinion wasn’t up to their usual standards. Fingers crossed that next month’s box of surprises will be better! I’m always interested to hear down in the comments if you personally received this box and what your thought’s on March’s Glossybox was? Hopefully some of you liked it more than I did!
