HAPPY BIRTHDAY GLOSSYBOX!! I am mega excited for this review, August is Glossybox’s birthday month and every year I get very excited to see the products and packaging that they have chosen for their birthday themed boxes. So of course like every August Glossybox this is their “Birthday Edition.”

This year’s packaging is the best design they have ever done…the box lid is already hanging up on my wall (far too pretty to throw away.) It is an explosion of pink and glitter and sparkles. I am in love with it. The pink, sparkly box shimmers a rainbow effect when it is in sunlight and it is absolutely stunning. My favourite box design EVER. When I saw how stunning the packaging was it made me major excited for what products were inside…OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The box even has a gorgeous dripping cake icing look to the sides. XO

HUDA BEAUTY Lip Strobe P8120113.JPGI LOVE Huda Beauty and this was our sneak peak spoiler last month so I knew we were in for a massive treat. This is Huda Beauty Lip Strobe Lipgloss which usually retails for £17. There were four shades that we could of either received…ANGELIC (Rose shade) RITZY (Champagne shade) BOUJEE (Coral shade) FEARLESS (Purple shade.) As you can see I received the shade Fearless. I’m not usually a purple lipstick wearer so I wasn’t too happy with the choice I got however, I did manage to buy (still cheap) from eBay someone’s unwanted Angelic and Ritzy lip strobe as they were the ones that I had personally wanted to try out.

The shade Fearless is lovely if you love purple lip shades. It is super shiny and really makes your lips stand out. The shade I brought as extras; Angelic & Ritzy are my favourite. They are extremely gorgeous again super shiny and really beautiful. I think these will quickly become my favourite and most used lip toppers.

The Lip Strobes have pink shimmers and gold reflections in them to create a gorgeous iridescent finish. They are very pigmented so you can either wear alone or on-top of your lipstick. The consistency of them all are smooth and very easy to apply with the applicator provided. I imagined they might of been slightly sticky/tacky but they are not at all which I was happily surprised about. The lasting power of these I found was overall about 3/4 hours, so quite a good amount of time. They are absolutely gorgeous and I would totally spend £17 on them as I think they are worth every penny. It’s amazing we got to try these out from a subscription box so thank you Glossybox for treating us.

FURR. Rose Gold Lash CurlerOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI already own some rose gold lash curlers so when they look like they need a replacement then at least I will have a new pair ready to use. A lash curler is an easy step to miss in your makeup routine however, they are a must if you want beautiful curlier looking lashes. This Lash Curler is by FURR. a brand I haven’t heard of before. They look very good quality and look like they will curl and lift eyelashes well. They retail for £15.

BANG BEAUTY Felt Tip LinerP8120121.JPGThis is a felt tip liner that retails for £15.75. It is a liquid eyeliner that is waterproof and quick drying. It has a lovely thin tip to it that will make application precise and easy. It is an intense black shade that is super pigmented and will definitely create a bold eye look. It claims to stay put all night long and doesn’t smudge. The packaging alone is stunning and eye-catching, it’s got an iridescent finish to the box and the liner packaging too. Beautiful.

BEAUTYPRO Eye TherapyP8120109.JPGI love treating my under eye area to a pamper eye mask session. This one is called Eye Therapy by BEAUTYPRO. This deluxe mini of 3.5g retails for £1.65, a full size version is 10.5g and retails for £4.95. This eye mask is rick in anti-inflammatory Green Tea Extract and has nourishing Collagen too and also includes hydrating Aloe Vera. This mask apparently cools the eye area which will feel divine. The mask itself works to smooth out fine lines, revive any puffiness, brighten tired looking eyes and reduce dark circles. I am excited to try this out on my next pamper session.

IMPERIAL LEATHER Foamburst Ultimate Moisture Golden Amber & Coconut OilP8120115.JPGThis is a newly launched product from Imperial Leather which is a whipped cream foaming body wash. I love the canister design for this as it’s not often I see body washes in this type of packaging. The smell is so yummy, it’s golden amber and coconut oil. It softens, hydrates and conditions the skin with nourishing natural oils leaving the skin to feel silky smooth. You can use this either in the bath or the shower which I love and you can also use this as a shaving foam too. This bottle is a deluxe mini of 75ml which is worth £2 for the full size 200ml it retails for £5. I definitely will be checking this new range out as this looks like a fab product.

Overall, this was a fabulous box for a Glossybox Birthday. The total worth of this box came to £51.40. I loved all the variety of products inside and will find them all useful. Including a HUDA BEAUTY product is such a massive treat and the lip strobes are incredible…this had to be my favourite product (although picking your own favourite shade to receive would of been a nice touch.) I love that Glossybox also included a newly launched product too and the lash curlers was a great product to add in a box. What did you all think of this months box products, did you love this box yourself? What are your favourite products from this review? I would love to know any thoughts and opinions so feel free to leave a comment down below.

Love, Charlotte
