Evening Lovelies,

What a perfectly themed subscription box to review for October, the month of Halloween. This month’s Glossybox is a Halloween edition theme. You could either of received ANGEL or DEVIL.PA120871.JPG

I received the DEVIL edit so that is the one I will be sharing with you here on my review.PA120863.JPGI love the themed idea for this month however, I already know that I would of preferred the Angel box. If I think of a colour for Devil obviously red is the first to pop into my mind so I guessed there would be alot of red themed products in this box. I never wear red for makeup as I have much more of a pink/girly girl type of vibe so the Angel box might of suited me better. But with my personal preference aside Glossybox have chosen 5 devilishly good products for this box plus an extra treat so we give in to temptation this month…PA120875.JPG

STYLONDON Velvet Touch PalettePA120880.JPGThis eyeshadow palette has a mix of mattes and shimmers. The shades range from orange to red tones as you can see in the pictures. They are not the colours that I would personally wear for eyeshadows however, in the palette they look like a perfect mix for Autumnal makeup. The shimmer shades look gorgeous! This palette is by STYLONDON and retails for £15.  PA120884.JPG

LORD & BERRY Maximatte Lipstick Crayon – Devil RedPA120894.JPGAgain, another product I wouldn’t use due to it being a red shade. However, a perfect product for the box theme. This is the Lord & Berry Maximatte Lipstick Crayon in the shade Devil Red that retails for £15. This is a gorgeous deep red shade for lovers of red lipstick. Apparently the shade Devil Red is an exclusive! The lip crayon also contains Vitamin E which keeps your lips nourished which is a great addition especially in the colder months where dry and chapped lips are more common.

MCOBEAUTY Eye Define Crayon LinerPA120899.JPGI love a crayon eyeliner specifically for lining under the eyes and this one has lovely baby pink packaging. I love it! It retails for £15 and is a newly launched product from the brand MCoBeauty. It claims to be highly pigmented and has a velvety formula. The tip is very precise so I can imagine It’ll be great for application.

BUBBLE T COSMETICS Devil’s Dust Foaming Bath PowderPA120890.JPGThis is an awesome product. I absolutely love that Glossybox partnered up with Bubble T and got their box design onto a product. It really makes this box content stand out! This is a limited edition/exclusive foaming bath powder called Devil’s Dust (which is fabulous.) You just need to add this to a warm bath at the end of a busy day to recharge and relax, and it will create bubbles. Devil’s Dust has a fruity scent to it and it retails for £4.99.

QUE BELLA BEAUTY Plumping Gold Peel Off MaskPA120887.JPGWow, what a gorgeous sparkly gold facial mask! You can see through the packaging that this mask is actually gold and sparkly…it looks beautiful. It only retails for £2.49 and is Que Bella Beauty’s plumping gold peel off mask. It contains hyaluronic acid salts and organic rose water. The mask claims to plump up the skin whilst brightening and moisturising it too.

I love Whittard Of Chelsea hot chocolates so this is such a lovely extra treat to add. Firstly, the box design is just perfection for Halloween and it looks fabulous. This is their Sticky Toffee Pudding White Hot Chocolate. I’m not a fan of white chocolate so not too sure if I will find this delicious. Glossybox added this as a give in to temptation type of treat. This is a 20g box worth £2 but the full size is 350g for £9.

Overall, this box theme idea was perfect for Halloween. The total worth of the box with the added extra treat comes to £54.48. Although I personally would of preferred the Angel box I do think that the contents of the Devil box was spot on. The exclusive Bubble T Foaming Bath powder is my favourite item from this box and I think Glossybox really thought about what products to put in, to fit in with the Devil theme which is great! I am doing a Halloween special giveaway for this Glossybox Devil Box on my Twitter page so make sure you don’t miss out and enter if your wanting to get your hands on this beautiful Halloween special box!!

I would love to know your thoughts on October’s box theme? Did you also think the product selection was a good fit for the theme? I would love to know all of your opinions and thoughts down below. I’m also interested to know if your a Glossybox subscriber yourself what box you received this month? If it was Angel what was the contents of your products?Love, Charlotte
