LookFantastic’s Beauty Box for October is the theme ‘Cosmic.’ Inside they have included six products that have been inspired by dark swirling galaxies, shooting star shimmer and they are embracing universal beauty too.
INSIDE THE BEAUTY BOX… 3 SKINCARE, 2 BEAUTY AND 1 HAIRCARE
Just A Little Note – Every LookFantastic box comes with the latest edition of Elle Magazine which retails for £4.50. I haven’t photographed this because I want to show the products instead but wanted to let you know so you are aware that you would also receive this gift too!
OH K Chok Chok Holographic Fibre Face Mask Firstly, I absolutely adore the packaging…the little panda at the top is totally adorable. This is OH K Holographic Face Mask Sheet. I love the brand Oh K so it’s great to see a product from them in this box. The sheet mask is infused with Hyaluronic Acid and contains Citrus Oils which are great for brightening up the skin’s complexion. I love the shimmery holographic design of the mask, it’ll look very futuristic on my face and I can’t wait to try it out. This face mask retails for £10.
EOS Lip Balm Shimmer Coral Wow, I love that this lip balm is a shimmer one. In the box you could of either received Shimmer Coral, Pearl, Iridescent or Crystal Vanilla Orchid. I got given Shimmer Coral. Each of these retail for £6.50. I would of loved to try out the Pearl or Iridescent one as coral on my lips is not a shade I would wear but after seeing this product in the box then I brought myself the pearl one anyway to try out as it looked gorgeous. These lip balms contain lots of nourishing ingredients like Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E which all deeply hydrate the lips. The balms also give a subtle shimmer tint to the lips which I love.
POLAAR The Genuine Lapland Hand CreamI adore this brand for skincare products! I remember that we have received a product from this brand before in a past LookFantastic box and that’s how I discovered this brand myself. This hand cream is worth £9.90 for 25ml and is called The Genuine Lapland Hand Cream. The packaging has Christmas looking vibes to me and I am so happy they included a hand cream as the weather is getting colder so it is a handbag essential. This is a nourishing hand cream that has been inspired by historic rituals from the women of Lapland. It includes Arctic Berries and I really can’t wait to try this out.
THE BALM Foiled Again Eyeshadow in ‘Red Handed’ This is a mini 1.2g of The Balm Foiled Again eyeshadow in the shade Red Handed. It’s a stunning shimmery, deep coppery shade and retails for £8. It is highly pigmented and it looks beautiful in the pan. There were two other products that you could of received instead these are: Alternative Rock in ‘Take It For Granite’ or Mary-Lou Manzier. I love the packaging designs of The Balm products and this has a magnetic closure so it’s very handy.
LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER Angled Blending BrushThis is an angled blending brush which looks amazing. The bristles are super soft and it retails for £6.99. I love this brand I’ve used some of their brushes before and they are brilliant quality. A blending brush is always needed so it’s great to add an angled one to my collection now. I reckon that this brush will make blending eyeshadows easy, creating a flawless finish.
WET BRUSH Mini Detangler BrushI love wet brushes! I already own a full sized one so I was super happy to see this mini included. These brushes were sent in a variety of different colours and I received the gorgeous pink one. The brushes are worth £7.99 for the mini detangler. These are seriously needed if you want to take good care of your hair when it’s wet. They detangle wet or dry hair effortlessly and they do it without breaking or damaging the hair. It has a non-slip handle design so it’s easy to style the hair. I always use one of these when I come out of the shower and my wet hair doesn’t get damaged. So I am super happy this is in the box.
Overall, this box is wonderful. The total worth of the box came to £49.38. The range of products in this were great. I love all of the items in this box and it’s pretty hard to pick a favourite as I can’t wait to use each one. But it’s definitely great to see a wet brush included as I haven’t received a hairbrush in any subscription box yet. All of the products fitted in well with the cosmic theme of the box too. I would love to hear if you received this months LookFantastic box and what your thoughts are on it…do you have a favourite product out of this selection?
