Morning Lovelies,

December’s Glossybox is all about the glitz and glamour of the festive season, their box theme for this month is ‘Merry Metallics.’ It is filled with beauty products to get you glammed up and ready for the season. Lots of glitter, shimmer and sparkle in this box. I adore the metallic theme as I love adding abit of sparkle to my beauty routine and excitingly these are all full size items too! I am very excited to share the contents of this box with you. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

GOLDEN GATSBY 3D Faux Mink LashesPC151097.JPG These are lovely to include for the festive season. Long and flirty eyelashes just pull a stunning look together. These lashes are in the style of a 1920s flapper girl. They are lovely and long and also cruelty free. Unfortunately I don’t really wear false eyelashes so this isn’t really a product I need but I can definitely see why they would include a set of lashes for the party season. These lashes retail for £9.75.

STEVE LAURANT Loose Powder PigmentPC151107.JPG This is a multi-purpose shimmer rose gold pigment powder by Steve Laurant that retails for £14.60. It can be used as a shimmery eyeshadow, rose gold eyeliner (just wet an eyeliner brush and apply) or for a rose gold highlight. It’s in a tiny cute pot and the powder shade looks lovely. You can find the swatch for this product abit further down this post. The pigment is quite subtle but still dazzling rose gold and the powder itself feels incredibly smooth. I can’t wait to try this out.

BELLAPIERRE Liquid Shadow Eye CandyPC151102.JPG This is a stunning velvety liquid eyeshadow by Bellapierre. It is highly pigmented with just one swipe. The liquid transforms into a solid once applied and it gives a gorgeous metallic finish to the lid that claims not to crease or smudge. It retails for £20. You can find the swatch for this product abit further down this post. This is in the shade Venus which is a deep golden metallic shade. Really beautiful and the texture is very smooth. Perfect for the metallic theme of the box.

L.O.V COSMETICS The Fateful Lacquered Lip StainPC151104.JPG What’s a festive box without a red shade lip product? For this product you could of received 1 of 5 shades. I have seen other people’s unboxings too and from what I have gathered you might not even receive this lip stain product you might get a mascara or a lipstick instead. I got the L.O.V Cosmetics The Fateful Lacquered Lip Stain in the Shade 710 – Elusiv Endurance. I’m pleasantly surprised by this shade. I am not a wearer of red lipstick normally and would prefer nude or pink shades however, this isn’t a vibrant red and I would actually wear this shade as it looks lovely. To me it’s more of a toned down red brownish shade. The lip stains retail for £7.99 and they are highly pigmented. I love this lip stain and I can’t wait to wear it. You can find the swatch for this product below.

ORIGINAL SOURCE Sweet Rhubarb & Raspberry Shower GelPC151099.JPGThis shower gel is by Original Source, we have received a couple of different scents before in previous boxes so it’s nice to try out another new one. This is in the scent Sweet Rhubarb & Raspberry. It includes 4 essential oils in the ingredients and overall smells lovely. The bottle is a bonus as it is packaged in a recyclable bottle and has been manufactured using 100% renewable energy. It is also vegan and paraben-free and retails for just £2.30.

Overall, this box is spot on for a metallic theme. It’s nice to see a box that is more beauty products this month. The total worth of the box comes to £54.64My favourite products are the highly pigmented, stunning shimmer ones e.g; the rose gold loose powder and the liquid shadow. I do love the lip stain product also and it’s nice to have a red shade included that I actually will wear. I am very happy with Glossybox’s December edit and I think it’s set me up nicely for the festive season.

I would love to know all of your thoughts on this December box so make sure to leave a comment down below and tell me what your favourite product is from this selection. Did you love the ‘Merry Metallics’ theme for a festive box? If you receive Glossybox yourself did you receive a different product to the L.O.V Lip stain? If so which one… I would love to know all of your opinions and thoughts.  Love, Charlotte
