It’s time for another monthly Glossybox unboxing and this month’s theme is ‘All Eyes On Me.’ Glossybox have filled this box with 5 products that will help to make you feel more confident and give you show stopping looks to stand out from the crowd…it’s all about “embracing your most glamorous self.”
INSIDE THE BOX… 4 BEAUTY AND 1 HYGIENE
CIATE LONDON Stamp & Drag Liner DuoThis is a tool that I have been needing in my life and to be honest I can’t believe I’ve never thought of this before as this is going to be an eyeliner life changer. This is a stamp and drag liner duo by Ciate London which retails for £15. It’s a beauty product which is literally a genius! It’s got a lovely wing shaped stamp on one end and on the other a pointed liner tip which will make the winged eyeliner look easy to do with a perfect result everytime. I am so excited to use this as winged eyeliner is not my most skilled area so I need all the help I can get and with this wonderful 2 in 1 beauty product I can achieve an effortless winged eyeliner look. I cannot wait to try this out and see the end results.
MCOBEAUTY Long Lasting Lipstick
This is a long lasting lipstick in the shade Flawless by MCoBeauty and it retails for £12. The shade is gorgeous I’m not exactly sure how to describe it but it is more of a nude shade (the second picture is what the shade looks like in real.) It’s got a weightless and creamy formula which smoothly glides onto the lips, giving high pigmentation and keeping them hydrated. I am looking forward to trying this lipstick out.
SLEEK Highlighter Palette in CopperplateWe often get Sleek products in Glossybox so when I saw a highlighter palette in the box I immediately thought that it’s going to be the Solstice one which I already have two of! But I was happily surprised when I noticed the highlighter palette shade was actually in one I’ve never tried out before. This is Sleek’s Highlighter Palette in the shade Copperplate and oh my goodness….the shades are stunning! The palette retails for £9.99 and it includes four powder highlighters (powder ones are my favourite so I am thrilled.) The shades are perfect ranging from rich coppers to duo-toned golden shades. The selection will flatter all skin tones. I reckon I will easily fall in love with this highlighter palette and I adore the shade selection. A really shimmery and stunning palette.
EYEKO Black Magic MascaraI love Eyeko mascaras and I am always excited to see one in a subscription box as I do wear these mascaras. This is a deluxe mini of their Black Magic Mascara worth £10 (the full size is £19.) This is a lovely mascara and I actually wear this one daily. The black pigmentation in this is perfect and coats lashes well giving that desired dramatic lash look. This mascara actually has a curved wand which helps to lift your lashes and gives them a lengthening finish. I’m a fan of this mascara so it’s nice to know that I’ve got another one handy when I run out of the one that I’m currently using. This mascara also looks even better ontop of another one it really makes your lashes look full and beautifully long (that’s my little tip to you if your looking for voluminous fluttering dramatic lashes.)
WHITEGLO Professional Choice Whitening ToothpasteI’m not too excited by this product as it’s toothpaste however, I haven’t heard of this brand before so I guess it’s a new discovery which I may enjoy. This is by White Glo and is a professional choice whitening toothpaste apparently it was developed for models and actors which is interesting. The toothpaste is formulated with micro particles that help to brighten the teeth improving any yellowing or discolouration. It also contains Fluoride which helps to protect them from decay. I will use this and try it out although I do wish we had been given a full size version as the deluxe mini we received is only worth £1.05 (the full size is worth £4.20.)
Overall, this box is great. I love that this month is very heavy with beauty products and all are for different areas…eyeliner, lashes, lips and a dazzling highlight. My two favourite products are; the Stamp and Drag Liner Duo as I just think that is the most clever invention for beauty products, and I also loved the Sleek Highlighter Copperplate Palette, the shades are stunning and match my favourite highlighter shades perfectly. (I loved all of the items even though I can pick a couple of favourites.) If I had to pick a con it would be that I wish we had received a full size bottle of the toothpaste as it wasn’t much more in price than the deluxe mini we got given. The total worth of the box came to £48.04, not the most expensive box in worth but I will be using all of the products and they are the best type of boxes when you know you can find a use for them all!
I would love to know your own thoughts and opinions on this box…perhaps you received this months Glossybox too, what did you think of it? What items were your favourite from the selection? Do you think the products match the theme of the box well? I’d love to hear from you all.
