LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX MARCH 2020 – WHAT’S INSIDE?

Afternoon Lovelies,

LookFantastic’s March box is all about being inspired, empowered and confident with their ‘Unconstricted’ theme. The box includes six products that have been designed to help you feel the best version of yourself. So let’s see what products these are…

INSIDE THE BEAUTY BOX… 4 SKINCARE AND 2 HAIRCARE

SKINCARE

MADARA Time Miracle Wrinkle Resist Eye CreamOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThis is an eye cream by Madara that focuses on reducing signs of tiredness, ageing, fine lines and wrinkles. It’s got a smooth formula that is incredibly lightweight which hydrates the eye area and helps to give the skin a more radiant look. I have tried this out already and I love it so far, I actually just finished my usual eye cream when this box arrived (perfect timing) so I tried this out and have been using it daily since. Although I haven’t noticed any specific difference to my eye area yet it does feel lovely and does the job of hydrating the under eye area, it’s also got wonderful ingredients in it too. This is a 15ml bottle worth £35.

RODIAL Bee Venom Cleansing BalmOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThis is a Rodial Cleansing balm with a unique name Bee Venom and yes it really is formulated with bee venom. It’s apparently an anti-ageing wonder ingredient. This cleansing balm helps to brighten the skin aswell as smooth and plump it’s complexion and gets rid of unwanted dirt and impurities from the skin. This is a 20ml bottle worth £13. It does sound rather interesting so I’m looking forward to seeing if this does improve my skin.

RITUALS The Ritual Of Ayurveda Shower OilOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOoo I’m excited about this product, The ritual of Ayurveda is my favourite range from Rituals and this is their shower oil in a 75ml bottle worth £4.90. This is infused with Indian rose and sweet almond oil which will help to soften the skin and bring more clarity and relaxation to the mind. I love the packaging of this too it just looks luxurious and inviting. Extremely happy they included a Rituals product in this months box.

ELIZABETH ARDEN Superstart Skin Renewal BoosterOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Elizabeth Arden is a well loved brand so it’s great to see a product inside even if this is a mini size. This is the Superstart skin renewal booster which is a great addition to any skincare routine. It’s been designed to restore the skins natural ability to renew and repair it (genius.) It’s got some fabulous ingredients in it too which helps the skin to look less damaged and irritated. I’m excited to see what results this gives and it’s super easy to remember to include in your skincare routine as it should be used after cleansing and just before applying serum. This is a small size bottle with 5ml of product (I’m guessing a little goes a long way though) and it retails for £7.50 for this size.

HAIRCARE

GROW GORGEOUS Repair Strengthening Hair & Scalp MaskOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI love a Grow Gorgeous hair product and this is their Repair strengthening hair and scalp mask which is in a 30ml bottle and retails for £3.75. Again it’s got some great ingredients included like Caffeine, Oat Lipids and Hyaluronic Acids. Wonderful ingredients for stimulating the roots, keeping locks moisturised and hydrated and giving a silky, smooth and soft finish. It apparently helps to visibly thicken the hair aswell as nourishing it.

HAIRBURST Healthy Hair VitaminsOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA I have heard of these before and we got a 15 day supply of 30 pastilles worth £12.49. This is best used for taking two per day ideally both in the morning before eating. These hair vitamins claim to give you luscious and healthy locks and they can also help your hair grow faster too. I can’t say I’ve ever taken vitamins just solely for my hair but I do take multivitamins in general. Not sure if I’m totally won over by the concept of this product as I’m guessing I would be getting the same vitamins in my multivitamins anyway. But I could be wrong. Id love to know if any of you have tried these out before and seen a difference.

Overall, this is a great box and It’s got a good range of skincare and haircare products. My two favourite products are the Madara eye cream and the Rituals shower oil and I absolutely love the brands that LookFantastic have included this month some very well known ones. The total worth of this box comes to a big value of £76.64. I would love to hear all of your thoughts on LookFantastic’s March 2020 box aswell. Do you like the contents and brands inside this box? What products do you like the look of the most? Did you receive the box yourself? Leave all of your comments down below to share your thoughts and opinions I love to hear from you all!

Love, Charlotte

  1. I tried to leave this comment a couple of days ago but I got an error message whenI did. The comment on the other post yesterday went through so maybe it’s just a blip? Will add it again here in case you don’t have it in spam.

“Ooo I really like the sound and look of that Bee Venom stuff. I thought it was a balm judging by the tube shape at first. Cleansing balm… so I imagine you use with water to lather and wash off? Hopefully as you don’t get much at 20ml if you’re not ‘diluting’ it in any way. Those ‘Hair Vitamins’ are what I’ve seen before in a big tub on the Superdrug website. I always thought they’d be a bit of a fad; sure they contain some real vitamins & minerals, but it doesn’t mean they’re necessarily going to benefit your hair and they’re pretty pricey. Don’t get me wrong, I still want to try them! I just think it’s a bit of a marketing ploy, as it sounds like you do too, especially to appeal to those of us self-conscious about our hair. Pretty cool thing to get in the LookFantastic box though! I’ve had Glossy before as a trial but never tried out LookFantastic so I’ll look into maybe getting one of those. Will look forward to seeing how you get on with your new goodies 😄

    1. Oh no I didn’t have it in Spam either. Thank you for taking the time to re-comment.
Yes the bee venom did sound interesting, yeah 20ml isn’t much but I guess you got to have those travel size products in subscription boxes too. You only need two pumps of it though and then mix with water and the balm changes into a milky cleanser. Pretty cool!
I’m so glad you feel the same way I do on the hair vitamins. I wasn’t sure if I was just over thinking it and being slightly negative towards the product, so glad to hear your thoughts on it aswell. Yeah you said it spot on it does seem abit like a marketing ploy. I’ll let you know in 30 days if my hair is magically perfect! haha
Yeah I highly recommend LookFantastic I love their boxes if you love skincare then this is the box for you, they often include luxury brands too which I love to see in a box.
Thank you Caz for taking the time to read and to comment hugely appreciate Xx
