This month Glossybox are feeling tropical and summery vibes with their ‘Aloha’ edition box for July. They have included 5 products that will give us all the feeling of chilling on a sandy beach no matter where we are this summer. I adore the packaging of the box this month it’s stunning and fits perfectly with the theme… it’s so pretty that I will definitely be hanging up the box lid sign somewhere in my home this summer!
INSIDE THE BOX… 3 BEAUTY AND 2 SKINCARE
JECCA BLAC Glow Drop Primer These are glow drops by the brand Jecca Blac who I haven’t come across before so this is a brand discovery for me. This is a 20ml bottle worth £16. The glow drops prime the skin and creates a glowing base ready for makeup application ontop which leaves you with a hydrated and dewy radiant finish. I love anything that adds abit of shimmer and glow to the face so very happy to see this included.
GIVE THEM LALA BEAUTY Aloha Bronzer Firstly, this packaging is just fabulous I love how it matches the box. Bronzers are my go to summer look, I love adding a little sun kissed tan to my cheeks so am thrilled with this item. This is by Give Them Lala Beauty and is worth £19.80. I usually go for a matte bronzer as I like to apply highlight too however this one already has some shimmer to it. The shade is also on the warmer brown side so hopefully it won’t give an orange tinge once applied. I’m looking forward to seeing if this transforms me into a bronzed goddess…
THE BEAUTY CROP Palm BalmI’m not the biggest fan of lip and cheek tints so this is a miss product for me however, I can see why it’s been included in this summery box. This retails for £18 and is a multi-purpose balm. It’s been formulated with 90% natural plant based oils including apricot and coconut oil and can be used on the lips, cheeks and even eyelids. It’s shade is a lovely deep rosy pink. Even though I’m not too excited for this product I bet alot of people will be pleased with it if they use products like this as the quality looks great.
NAOBAY Orange Juice Hand CreamThis is completely right up my street… anything that smells of citrus and fresh oranges in the summertime is an instant love of mine! This is a full sized 100ml bottle of hand cream from the brand Naobay which retails for £11.50. It’s a luxurious hand cream that literally smells of delicious freshly squeezed oranges. It’s got a good blend of shea butter, aloe vera, chamomile and orange water to moisturise and rejuvenate the skin. This product will definitely be my go to summer hand cream for sure! The packaging is very eye-catching aswell and I love their wooden lid design.
KOCOSTAR Fruit Slice Mask Sheet I am over the moon with this product, this is a fruit slice mask sheet by Kocostar. You will either receive the Strawberry version or Watermelon one. If you know me you will know that my favourite fruit is watermelon so to have this in a face mask is just incredible and I am so pleased that Glossybox picked this fruit choice out for me. These are Korean face masks that have been infused with either watermelon or strawberry extracts and both of the masks give an intense burst of moisture and hydration to the skin. I cannot wait to try this out during my next pamper session and I can’t wait to see if it actually smells as delicious as a watermelon. I already love the look of the watermelon print on the sheet mask itself… so cute! This mask retails for £4.
Overall, this box is great and perfect for a summery July month. My favourite products inside are the Naobay Orange Juice Hand Cream and Kocostar Watermelon Mask Sheet, it’s great to see some fruit based products included… after all it is Summer. The only miss product for me would be The Beauty Crop Palm Balm but that’s just because of personal reasons of not using lip and cheek tints myself. The total worth of this box comes to a decent amount of £69.30.
