I have been given a fabulous opportunity to collaborate with the brand Kathy Sue-Ann’s (You can find their website by clicking here.) This brand creates a large range of natural and organic skincare products which are cruelty-free and they believe that “Being at your best starts with feeling comfortable in your own skin” and I couldn’t agree more! Every single one of their products is lovingly hand-made in North London (UK) using only 100% natural ingredients so, you can be sure that there are no harsh/nasty chemicals or toxins inside and all of the ingredients used are beneficial to your skin. I love the positive message behind Kathy Sue-Ann’s brand, she is a strong believer in lovingly caring for your body with nourishing natural products and she believes that “when your skin looks good and healthy, that feeling crosses over to other aspects of your live and you feel more positive, confident and happy” which is exactly what her range offers… fabulous natural products that will leave you feeling nourished and cared for, confident and happy.
I have kindly been given some products from Kathy Sue-Ann’s LipCare range to try out and give my 100% honest thoughts and opinion about them in this review. I have been so excited all week to share this with you and I hope you enjoy finding out more and perhaps discovering a new brand…
Organic Lip Scrub Coconut Palm Sugar
This organic lip scrub only contains 4 ingredients and each one is beneficial and nourishing to the lips! I love giving my lips a good exfoliation as a build up of dry and flaky skin is not flattering for anyone’s pout. This lip scrub comes in a lovely small glass jar with 30ml of product inside and it only retails for £6. The lip scrub itself smells absolutely delicious, think of yummy sugary sweetness and that’s probably because it’s a sugar based scrub which is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
I honestly adore this lip scrub it gave me the exact results that I would look for in any lip scrub… a smooth and kissable pout. It gently buffed away the parts of my lips that were dryer and left them feeling so soft. It was so quick and easy to use just taking a small amount of scrub and buffing my lips with my finger in a circular motion. I honestly can say that I’m going to be switching my usual lip scrub to this one and will be purchasing for myself when I finish up this jar… it is that wonderful!
Moisturising Lip Balm (Peppermint + Au Naturel)
These two lip balms retail for an affordable £3.50 each. I got given Peppermint and Au Naturel, there is also another lip balm available in the range called Citrus. I’m personally not too keen on peppermint but my boyfriend was extremely willing to give this one a go so here’s a snippet from a man’s perspective; he told me how much he loved it and in his words “it actually works, my lips aren’t as dry now!” I tried out the Au Naturel lip balm myself and I loved it also. I’m not sure if it’s just me but I could smell a very very subtle hint of chocolate (probably due to the organic cocoa butter included) and it was lovely. I was surprised by this but very pleased because alot of unscented, natural products that I have tried out before in the past have smelt slightly strange to me sometimes and nowhere near as delicious as this one. My lips can get quite chapped in different weathers and this balm really did make a difference. It left my lips feeling hydrated and moisturised aswell as leaving them smooth and soft.
The stick itself I was surprised about too because when I first took the lid off I thought it looked abit hard with the texture look of the stick however, when I applied it it just ran so smoothly across my lips and glided on with ease (literally like soft, creamy butter) and left them with a lovely moisturised sheen. Each of the lip balms include only natural and nourishing ingredients which keeps your lips soft and healthy so that’s perfect. This is another product that I would purchase myself and I’m very intrigued to try out the Citrus one too as I love citrus products.
Overall, this has been a wonderful new brand discovery for me and the products were exactly as described. They left my lips nourished, moisturised and kissable and I cannot pick a favourite between the lip scrub or the lip balms as both worked perfectly. I can’t believe that I personally hadn’t yet stumbled upon this wonderful natural skincare brand and I am so glad that I am able to share this brand with you all too. If you are searching for natural skincare products that actually make a difference then I would highly recommend checking out Kathy Sue-Ann’s product range, you can find the whole range in her shop.
