Crystals In Skincare? Find Out More About Crystal-Infused Skincare…

Morning Lovelies,

This is the ‘second part’ to my crystal weekend, if you missed yesterday’s guide to crystals post then you can find it here

Just a little note before you continue – I understand that crystals can be a mixed opinion topic some people love them and swear by their healing powers and others are sceptical and think they are nothing more than just pretty stones. So please know that this post may not be everybody’s cup of tea… you’re entitled to your own opinion and view just like anybody else but just remember to keep any comments thoughtful to others. Thank you.

Crystals and gemstones have for centuries been admired and cherished for their beauty and spiritual abilities. Despite having no scientific evidence to support the use of crystals they are extremely popular still and in the last few years the precious stones have seen a big upsurge in their popularity… now the industry is reported to be worth well into the billions. With the popularity of crystals rising even more, crystals are now being added to other items. Maybe you’ve seen crystal water bottles popping up in the shops or perhaps you’ve even come across skincare products with crystals included.

How Do Crystals In Skincare Work?

There are a variety of well known beauty brands on the market who have started to add over the last couple of years whole or crushed crystals and gemstones to skincare products to help with common skin issues. The crystals are added to the skincare products to heal, purify and protect the skin. Some products will use oil or water that’s been ‘charged’ with the chosen crystal’s energy and some will actually finely grind up the stones and mix them into the solution. Because crystals is a 50/50 mix of opinion topic then there will of course be sceptical people who do not buy into this but, holistic therapists believe that crystals contain unique vibrational frequencies that can synchronise with the body in a few different ways. They believe that it can improve microcirculation and that’s why these crystals added to skincare products are thought to energise and heal the skin because, they can potentially infuse the solution with their metaphysical energies.

It all sounds very wonderful and magical to me and although it might sound like an unusual approach to skincare if you try out a skincare product that works for your skin and shows improvement to your skin’s complexion and it’s overall condition then that’s wonderful. It’s important to remember that each crystal has it’s own ‘healing’ properties so be sure to find the right one that suits your individual needs to get the most benefit from crystals.

The great thing about crystal skincare is that most of the time the crystal-infused products tend to be handcrafted, natural and more sustainable which means they are perfect for the ‘green beauty’ industry and are becoming a popular choice among customers. Not only can you find crystals in skincare product formulas but they are also sometimes added to beauty products too. You can find some make-up highlighters on the market that use golden topaz or rose quartz and other types of crystals to heal, nourish and illuminate the skin. And of course let’s not forget about all the crystal/gemstone skin care tools that help with reducing inflammation, boosting blood circulation, calming puffiness and can even help to relieve deep muscular tension… you may of seen some rose quartz, jade or amethyst Gua Sha or Facial Rollers around.

I have really loved dedicating this weeks uploads to all things crystals and I hope that you’ve enjoyed the posts this weekend and found them of interest. I would be very interested to know if you incorporate crystals into your skincare routine yourself. If you haven’t tried it yet do you fancy giving crystal-infused skincare a go? What are your thoughts on all things crystals? I love hearing from you all so feel free to leave your comments down below.

Love, Charlotte

      1. I really need skin care tips. Because I am tired of my acne and scars. I am using a cream prescribed by my doctor, let’s see if it’s useful or not🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

      2. Thank you very much. But the cream seems to be not working I’m getting acne again. And truly I’m tired of trying and applying remedies on my face.
Let’s just go with the flow. We’ll see whatever happens.🤷 But I’ll surely visit your blog. Because knowledge is important. 😇😇

      3. I’m so sorry to hear that your prescription cream has not been working for you. I of course don’t know anything about your individual situation or what you’ve tried to help resolve your acne so I won’t just bombard you with possible solutions to help as you may of already tried them.
However, I think it’s important to find the root cause of your acne first and then it maybe easier to find a solution. Perhaps you are more prone to acne due to; hormonal changes, stress, diet or medication.
I’m not a doctor but it can be handy to find the root cause of the problem to then see the best approach to ease it and hopefully fully resolve it. If you already know what flares your acne up then I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of much help this time.

I really do hope you find something that works personally for you soon!
Thank you for visiting my blog, hugely appreciate it! Take Care Xx

      4. Some says it’s because of my body heat, some says it’s because Harmon changes and some says it’s because of my oily skin. There are so many reasons of it.
For now I am just trying to clean my skin by steam treatment. Plus I really don’t care about acne as long as it is not painful🙅

      5. Perhaps if you research some tips on getting rid of the acne by looking up each individual cause you just mentioned and then trying each ones solutions out, then you could see if one works better for you?
I know it sounds like a long winded process but if you are wanting to reduce your acne then it would be worth it for the end result. (Think of it as a journey not just a quick sprint path.)
That sounds good cleaning your skin with steam treatment and yes painful acne is the worst.
I’ve never struggled myself with acne problems… only really get breakouts if overly stressed or when my period is due (hormonal changes) so I can’t give you any personal tips. Sorry! Xx
