♥ A Little Christmas Message For You All ♥

Evening Lovelies,

I know it’s not Christmas Day just yet and there is still 5 days to go but, as this is my last post before Christmas Day I wanted to use this week’s post to write to you all a little Christmas message. I will still be posting next week like usual so keep your eyes peeled for next Sunday’s post.

This year we have been told that Christmas is going to be different. I don’t know where you all personally live but here in the UK Christmas this year is going to be very very different for us all. I’m sure that in other countries around the world Christmas will be different too depending on where abouts you live and what guidance/measures have been put in place for this pandemic. This year has been tough worldwide and honestly I think many of us will be thankful to see the new year of 2021 begin. During this current pandemic I came across a quote that has really stuck with me “We are not all in the same boat. But we are all in the same storm.” I think this is a powerful reminder to us all that even though our paths maybe different through this pandemic we are not alone as we are all facing the same ‘storm.’ I think this is also a wonderful quote to remember this Christmas as, we all will be having a different Christmas due to Covid Christmas measures/rules to follow for our own safety and for the safety of others but, again we will be in different ‘boats’ for what our own personal area is allowing.

Christmas is a time for sharing/making memories with family, friends and loved ones. It is a time for love and cheer. And although Christmas will be different for us all this year and we may not be spending it how we usually do, I hope that you still have a wonderful festive time and can make the best of a bad situation. As they say “When life throws you a rainy day… Play in the puddles!” Hopefully you will somehow be able able to connect with loved ones via phone calls or webcam etc… we are very lucky to have that way of connecting with others when we cannot physically meet up with each other. I know it isn’t the same of course but it is something and hearing a familiar voice or seeing a familiar face gives us that little boost that we all need. A couple of good quotes to remember during more troubling times is “It might be stormy now, but rain doesn’t last forever”, “H.O.P.E = Hold On, Pain Ends” and my favourite quote of all is “When it rains look for rainbows, when it’s dark look for stars.” I hope these can give you a little bit of hope and light.

I guess what I’m trying to say is whatever your plans are for Christmas this year I hope that you have a magical and peaceful day where you can enjoy the love and Christmas spirit. My thoughts are with you all and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU

P.S You may not be feeling so festive and perhaps you are feeling alone or sad at this time so I’m sending you a virtual hug ♥ And please know that you won’t be alone with how you are feeling as many others will be feeling the same. 1. Naww what a lovely message! You are so spot on with this, and with letting others know they’re not as alone as they may feel. This year has been horrendous for mental health, and Christmas for some people has a way of making whatever we’re feeling even worse. I love that quote you shared – We are not all in the same boat. But we are all in the same storm – that’s an excellent description.

I’ll look forward to your post-Christmas post but in the mean time…

    🎄🎄🎄🎉 Merry Christmas, Charlotte! 🎉🎄🎄🎄

    Caz xx
