This month the theme for Glossybox is ‘Best Time Of The Year’ and of course that’s because Christmas has arrived! The box has been filled with products that contain everything you need for a glam festive season. I love Christmas (December) Glossybox’s as they always arrive in a special design box. This years design is absolutely stunning… It’s pink, wintery and sparkly and the lid looks gorgeous mounted onto my wall!
INSIDE THE BOX… 2 SKINCARE, 2 BEAUTY AND 1 HAIRCARE
SYMBIOSIS Glycolic Acid + R.N.A Overnight Rejuvenating Eye Serum
This eye serum retails for a massive £102 for 15ml! That’s an incredible value for one product to be included in this box and it looks fabulous. It’s an overnight serum that is a treatment for tired and puffy eyes. It is formulated with Glycolic Acid which helps to firm up the skin and also brightens it and the R.N.A combats signs of ageing like fine lines, wrinkles and brown spots. The eye serum even has some shimmering properties like the ingredient Mica, which helps to reflect light from the skin to give the eye area a more radiant complexion and smoother finish. I’m looking forward to treating my eyes to this product and actually seeing if it does live up to it’s high value amount of £102!
WANDER BEAUTY Baggage Claim Gold Eye Mask (One Pack)
I love these eye masks and have tried them before in another subscription box so I’m pleased to see these in this one. This is one pack of Baggage Claim Eye Masks from Wander Beauty, the one set retails for £4. These eye masks are quite unique as they contain three layers of luxury. The top layer of gold foil helps the serum to penetrate deeply into the skin, and both the second and third layers help to keep the mask stay put and not slip around whilst the skin absorbs the masks key ingredients. This is perfect for a quick eye pick me up as it helps to brighten and hydrate your eyes after just one use. I found these lived up to their claim when I tried out before so I can’t wait to pamper my eyes with them again.
NAILBERRY Strawberry Jam
It’s Christmas so a festive nail polish is a must and this nail polish by Nailberry is perfect for a pretty Christmas manicure. This nail polish is called Strawberry Jam and is a dark red/pink shade. It retails for £15 and this polish is in their collection of L’Oxygéné which means the polish uses a patent technology for a healthier manicure… it’s even a multi-award winning range. Looking forward to seeing this shade applied to my nails.
BASIC BEAUTY Coloured Emery Boards
This isn’t the most exciting item but it’s a very handy one and this is a pack of two emery boards which retail for £2.50. They are durable and long-lasting emery boards which do what any emery board does… files and shapes the nails. I’ve actually popped these into my work bag as they are a good small size that are convenient to take out of the house with you for those moments when in need of a nail file.
For this product there was a range of different SportFX products you could of ended up receiving. I got given the detangling hair brush which has a cute slogan on it saying ‘Gym Hair, Don’t Care.’ It retails for £4.99 and is just a standard detangler hair brush that will be perfect for getting rid of those stubborn knots and tangles. I quite like the shape of the brush itself as it fits perfectly in my hand which allows more control over the brush. Another handy item to have.
Overall, I love the design of the box and I like the products inside. The box contained a good variety of different products and I loved that Glossybox included a festive looking nail polish. My favourite product would be the eye serum as I haven’t tried one out that is so expensive before so I’m excited to see what results it gives and my second favourite product is the eye masks as I’ve tried them out before and loved them. The total worth of this box comes to a big £128.49!
